So here she was. In the middle of Von's kitchen. Middle of the night. Not that anything had happened, she just made dinner for Von and Ezra, put Ezra to bed, and had... a... nice moment with Von. No, nothing LIKE THAT happened!

That's because she ran. Excused herself quickly and ran to the kitchen and helped herself to a glass of water. Then instead of going back, just stood and stared stupidly out the window.

What was wrong with her? ...well, what wasn't wrong with Camilla. She looked down at the half full glass in her hand and sighed softly. She loved Von... but she was scared. Poor, scared little badger couldn't hold herself in front of the pierced and marked lion, even when he was tender with her. As Camilla lifted her glass into the air to see the moon in her cup, she wondered if she could be brave enough.

Probably not.

It was nearly eleven that night when she entered the bar in the very posh hotel she was staying at. Camilla's glossy black hair was twisted up in an elegant up-do and the red silk dress was tailored smoothly to fit her body, hugging her volumtuous bosom that could be peeped at through the keyhole neckline, then flowed down her hips and teased anyone looking at her with the one slit up her right side with a little flash of a creamy leg. She moved smoothly to sit at the bar, ordered a gin and tonic, then looked around for any takers to be tonight's entertainment. It was a long night after all and tomorrow she had a very dull business meeting to look forward to in the morning, so a little fun needed to be in order.

Recieving the drink, Camilla raised it to her red lips and had a sip, then lightly traced her lower lip with her tongue in order to catch a stray drop of alcohol before looking around for a napkin to dab her mouth with.

Camilla was bent over her essay, working in quiet solitude in the library. She had been studying with a few other girls earlier, but the other girls' boyfriends had come over to take them away. With a sigh, she leaned back in the chair and looked at the ceiling as she idly flicked the end of her pink quill against her cheek. Her thoughts floated away from potions to Darin and she could just picture his glowing smile, the way his eyes sparkled...

Someday her prince will come? I hope so! Until then, Camilla will just flood your screen with PINK.

There are some eyebrows raising over Camilla walking into the meeting and very quietly entwing Darin's fingers around hers. Some are not so subtle: Nico, for example, looks like his eyes are going to pop out of his head. Zak nearly falls off his chair. Jesse scowls. Even Taylor, who has kind of known, keeps looking at Camilla, then his twin, and back again with baffled, wide-eyes. But the attention is taken off of her soon enough to the subject at hand, and during the entire meeting, Camilla does not speak. She sits as solemn and silent as a sculpture, eyes on the floor, and only nods or shakes her head in accordance with certain points of the meeting. When Nico points out that Zak did NOT murder Kiriaki, a tear rolls down her cheek and she presses just a little closer to Darin, who murmurs soothingly at her and gently kisses her hair.

The meeting feels like it drags on forever, but as all things do, it finally does end, and no one is more glad to leave than Camilla. She goes into the hall and stands at the window, allowing Darin to wrap his arms around her and hold her for a minute before she sends him on ahead back to their house. As her fingers trace delicate flowers into the window pane, Camilla looks out across the chilly grounds and quietly reminds herself that she is tangled in the middle of a war that no one will be able to escape from. That finally stated, she catches the reflection of a pair of sad blue eyes as Jesse storms past her and she watches his retreating back for a bit before chasing after him.

In Camilla's small, meaningful life, relationships are knitted together like threads. At the face of adversary, people stand together and fight, always ready to catch each other if one falls. That's why there must not be knots of animosity between each other.

Well... happy birthday to me, I suppose. I am now sixteen years old and the same as ever. Except... well, apparently I was quite tipsy! I remember trying a... a... a lager after I found a very sick Remy somewhere at Zak's birthday party. And I don't remember what happened afterwards.

Isn't my head suppose to hurt though? I feel fine! How strange! It tasted terrible though so I don't think I'll be trying anything afterwards.

The party was... was... was...

The music was... was...

I think I'll go to breakfast now.
